Originally from a family spanning three religions, two nationalities, and three native languages, Anastasia grew up inside the tensions of the Abrahamic triad — and their political consequences, from Europe to the Middle East. Rather than choosing a side or staying silent, she decided to build something.

Anastasia has been a performer since the age of three, trained in street jazz and shaped by the discipline of the stage. She has traveled to over 40 countries, driven by a curiosity that never sits still. But her deepest exploration has always been closer to home. She is the founder of the Abrahamic House, the first initiative in France dedicated to promoting dialogue between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam — though the House is open to all faiths. What Anastasia builds is, in many ways, what she is: a space where difference is not erased but reconciled, where a rich and vibrant family history becomes a model for something larger.

I hope to study Political Science in college because I have always been interested in understanding the world beyond what we see on the surface. I am especially drawn to politics, international relations, law, and the way decisions made by governments can shape the lives, rights, and opportunities of millions of people. I want to better understand different societies and perspectives and eventually use that knowledge to contribute to meaningful change.

I am especially drawn to politics, international relations, law, and the way decisions made by governments can shape the lives, rights, and opportunities of millions of people. I want to better understand different societies and perspectives and eventually use that knowledge to contribute to meaningful change. Outside of academics, horseback riding has been an important part of my life since I was four years old. Over the years, it has grown into much more than an activity or sport for me; it has become a passion and a place where I can escape from the pressure and noise of everyday life. When I ride, I feel a sense of freedom and peace that is difficult for me to find anywhere else.
My heritage is also a huge part of the person I am today. Growing up with my Moroccan and Muslim heritage has given me a strong connection to my culture, traditions, family, and values. It has also taught me the importance of understanding where I come from while remaining curious about people whose experiences are different from my own. I believe that the combination of my heritage, my passions, and my curiosity about the world has shaped the way I see people and society, and it is a major reason I feel so connected to Political Science and the path I hope to pursue in the future.

Ana is a 12th-grade AP student at the American School of Paris, with plans to pursue religious studies in college. Zahra is also in 12th grade at ASP.
